Having received planning permission for a loft and ground floor extension, the client was short on time and unsure how to move the house refurbishment forward. We were brought on board to bring character, colour and cohesive design across all elements of the house; from the initial spatial planning, material finishes and lighting spec down to furniture selection, art sourcing and styling.
On the ground floor, the new rear extension was carefully designed to complement the existing architectural style of the house and creates an open plan, multifunctional space that connects to a courtyard garden.
The hallway and staircase that wraps through the 3 storey house were given a total refresh, alongside new bathrooms and fully refurbished bedrooms on each floor. The new loft space was designed to work as both an office and spare room with a custom oak desk complimenting the vertical timber bars that mask off the mezzanine bedroom.
