The Carlton Wine Room is a comfortable neighbourhood space with a strong focus on wine and a menu to match, finding a home in a 19th century building in the heart of Carlton.

The restaurant comprises of a ground floor with casual bar and dining area, first floor formal dining space, two private function spaces on the top floors and the cellar bar downstairs.

The brief was to respect the history of the building, by paring back the existing interiors to look more simple and elegant. The restaurant strives to be approachable and practical, so the space was designed to feel relaxed and welcoming to guests.
